Full-Door Ad

Full-Door Ads are best suited for Brand Equity Messages. Full-Door Ads are the largest and most visible ad product on Cooler Screens. Their oversized format offers brand marketers unique opportunities to not just boost product and brand awareness, but also to delight shoppers. Similar to out-of-home or broadcast advertising, messaging should be simple, clear, and easy to comprehend as shoppers are walking through the store. Full-Door Ads are designed to draw shoppers toward the cooler section and only run when consumers are at a distance.

Cooler Screens has two door sizes, please provide ads for BOTH sizes.

Banner Ad

Banner Ads are best suited for Brand Equity Messaging but can also be effective for Promotional Messaging. Banner Ads run along the top of the doors. They are highly visible for consumers and ideal to boost a brand. Banner Ads also serve as way-finding and category signage to bring shoppers to the cooler section more quickly and find the products they love or want to try.

Middle Banner Hotspot Ad

Middle Hot Spot Ads can be used for either Brand Equity Messaging or Promotional Messaging. Middle Hotspot Banner Ads are at optimal viewing level as they are positioned in the center of the door. They are highly effective and ideal to build brand visibility. Middle Hotspot Banner Ads can utilize the same creative direction as the Top Banner Ad with simple resizing.

Promotional Tag

Promotional Tags are call outs to draw attention to a product while shoppers are standing directly in front of a cooler making their final decision about what to purchase. Promotional Tags provide brands the opportunity to highlight product features that may be important to shoppers—e.g., “New”, “Hot Buy”, “Seasonal”, “America’s Favorite”, “Fan Favorite”. Brands can use our standard template (to come) or create their own tags for maximum impact.

Specifications:

  • Dimensions: 70 pixels x 70 pixels

  • Format: Animated PNG

  • Duration: Tags are 6 seconds long. The should fade in for 1/2 second, play for 5 seconds, and then fade out for 1/2 second.

  • Frame Rate: 24 frames per second

Nutritional Label

Nutritional Labels allow brands to highlight nutritional and dietary features of a product that shoppers look for when making their final purchasing decisions. Our current label library is focused on the most commonly used labels on CPG packages. If there is a specific label or certified badge that you would like us to add, please lets us know and we can add it to our library.

  • Dimensions: 55 pixels x 55 pixels

  • Format: Static PNG

  • Quantity: Up to 3 per product

  • Duration: Up to three nutritional labels per product rotate every three seconds. Transitions between labels are handled via code.

Native Product Ad

 
 

Native Product Ads allows brands to represent their product in the most unique light possible. Through the use of surprise and whimsy, and animation, a product can be activate on shelf to heighten the appetite appeal or brand character. These ads replace the static product image and sit on the virtual Cooler Screens shelf. So, sizing for these ads is customized to the product image. For this reason, we recommend scheduling time with the Cooler Screens design team who can help establish the approach for ad.

Specifications:

  • Dimensions: Physical dimensions of product converted to 66 pixels per inch. Example: a 5” x 5” product = 330 pixels x 330 pixels when rendered

  • Format: Animated PNG

  • Duration: 8 seconds looping

  • Frame Rate: 24 frames per second

  • Useful Tools: APNGb-v2.0.1 is a free Animated PNG sequence compiler available on GitHub here.


Spot Ad (Coming Soon)

 
 

Spot Ads are activated by external events (e.g. weather, news, etc.) and when shoppers are present in front of the coolers. The ads appear over a screened back product planogram and share relevant, contextual information to the shopper when moments matter most. Similar to out of home advertising, messaging should be simple, clear, and easy to comprehend as shoppers are walking through the store.
